Special Session Celebrating the Work of Russell Johnson 154th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA)

A special memorial session was held at the 154th meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) on 12th November 2008 to celebrate the contributions of the late Russell Johnson, founder of Artec Consultants Inc, to the field of architectural acoustics.

Organized by Artec's Damian Doria, FASA, and Bill Cavanaugh the meeting was attended by over 95 persons.

Speakers included Bill Cavanaugh (Cavanaugh Tocci Associates Inc.), Leo L. Beranek, Christopher Jaffe (Jaffe Holden Acoustics), Robert Wolff, Robert Essert (Sound Space Design), Barton Myers (Barton Myers Associates Inc.), Carl J. Rosenberg (Acentech Inc.), and Gary Siebein ( School of Architecture at the University of Florida).
