October 2008 / News

On 4 November 2008, residents of Greensboro, North Carolina, USA, will vote on a $50 million bond for renovations to the War Memorial Auditorium at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. Artec has been providing consulting advice to the project since early 2005, when Artec and Rosser International architects of Atlanta, Georgia, USA, were hired by the City of Greensboro and the Greensboro Coliseum Complex to undertake a programming study and facility assessment of this aging 1950’s era public auditorium. Through this study, Artec and Rosser proposed sweeping modifications to the auditorium and public areas to effectively create an exciting new performing arts center for the community.
