The Thunder Bay Community Auditorium was built for the city of Thunder Bay located in Ontario, Canada. The venue opened its doors in 1985.

This 1500-seat multi-purpose space has exceptional acoustics and a warm intimate feel giving it a reputation as one of the finest in North America. A broad array of adjustable technical features including flexible acoustics make the room well-suited to a wide range of events including symphonic music, musical theatre, rock music, and headline entertainers. The stage can also be transformed into a cabaret with tables and seating on the stage itself.

The auditorium maintains state-of-the-art equipment to fulfill the range of requirements of local presenters and large touring companies. A moveable ceiling can be raised or lowered to change the quality of reflected sound. The orchestra pit lifts are able to accommodate additional seating or may be used to extend the stage into the audience chamber. Fourteen large moveable panels may be placed behind the performers in order to create an orchestra shell and alter the room's acoustics for different performance needs. Acoustic draperies covering the inner walls may be used to modify the reverberance of the room.
